The heart of this propulsion system lies in its advanced FOC (Field Oriented Control)-based PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) algorithm. To facilitate easy maintenance, patented outlets at the bottom of the motor mount enable direct rinsing with freshwater after use.

A range of protection functions, including power-on self-test, abnormal voltage detection, and motor lock-up protection, ensure optimal performance and reliability. Real-time data output to the Flight Controller keeps you informed about essential parameters like input/output throttle, RPM, voltage, current, and temperatures, contributing to improved flight performance and efficiency. For comprehensive data recording and closed-loop control, the optional Hobbywing DataLink data box can monitor eight ESCs simultaneously.
Enhancing user convenience, the X8 propulsion system includes a high-brightness LED indicator, offering customizable color options or the option to disable it. This LED provides valuable information about the system’s working status and warns of any abnormalities, enhancing overall safety.
The 3090 propeller, crafted from high-strength carbon fiber, is both sturdy and lightweight, boasting excellent dynamic balance and consistency. To facilitate easy maintenance and swift repairs, the X8 propulsion system employs a modular design. In the event of damage, users can easily and quickly replace specific parts, such as blades, propeller adapters, or the integrated power combo (ESC+motor).
